Campbell Sucks
So I’ve decided that SBC and Campbell both just suck. The picture linked below is a map showing all the CO locations in the center of a 1.3 mile radius. The 1.3 mile radius is about what I want in terms of Loop Length for wherever I move. Notice Campbell is in the center, with no circles near it. I need to live within on of the circles.

I remember when I first got DSL; Pacbell (at the time) was a little unsure of how it would perform because I was pretty far (around 2 miles) from the closest CO (Hillsdale). Back then, if you were farther than 10,000 feet form the nearest CO, the DSL would not perform well at all. The technology has changed a bit since then, and I don’t think the distances are quite as strict. I have Comcast now and I’m sure I need not remind you of the problems with that. It’s pretty sad, we live smack dab in the middle of the Silicon Valley itself and we still have problems with the Internet…
